ACCESSIBILITY
As this will be first year at a new site practical specifics not available at this time.
Pathways are expected to be grass / gravel grade suitable for off-road electric buggies, with some steep embankments delineating specific areas of the site. The site incorporates a stream with hazards associated with moving water.
FACILITIESStand-piped domestic fresh water supply; Eco-porta-loos, including level access WC. Recycling point in camping field.
FEATURES
Marquee with open mic for all poets, story-tellers and musicians. Other covered structures including tipi available for rituals, talks and workshops throughout the weekend, with extended invitation for Campers to host and share their wisdom (just pop over to Temple of Sisi to book slot on the Oakleaf Events Board).
Handfastings performed by arrangement.
CLIMATE
Ravenstonedale is a remote location with little light-pollution. Hats and high factor sunscreen for children is always recommended. The site is exposed with stone wall boundaries - do bring sufficient pegs, guy-ropes, weights and duct tape to make sure tents and stalls stay fully grounded and help pop-ups survive the usual weather variances for North Yorkshire.
