Trading Standards
Traders are expected to be aware and able to demonstrate competency of all relevant trading policies, liabilities and licences including COVID precautions applicable at the time for England, Smoking legislation, Food Hygiene certification and recent Food Allergen legislation introduced to protect the public. Traders are expected with have their own Public Liabilities Insurance. Oakleaf Camp accepts no responsibility for consequence of any breach of legislation by Traders resultant from adhoc site inspection by Council, local authority or other official bodies. Traders must also be aware of Oakleaf Camp’s Waste Management policy and where merchandise includes risk of spillage of small parts eg. beads / sequins / glitter, provision must be included for complete clean-up, such as hand-held battery powered vacuum. Please note biodegradable materials still have environmental impact and if it doesn’t dissolve and disperse after one rain shower it will need picking up.
